Artist's Comments
First project for school using Illustrator. Not a bad first cut, if I do say so myself. I was really looking forward to using the mesh gradient tool but I found out the hard way you have to be REALLY careful about how you lay out your paths, otherwise the mesh tool simply won't let you use it. Sigh. I'm probably missing something there, but there will be other projects.
Illustrator CS3 and Photoshop CS3 (for shading and highlighting): about 8 hours. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
